Valley Cold Storage & Transportation, the first purpose-built refrigerated warehouse system in the New Mexico Borderplex, is gearing up to complete a significant expansion of its Santa Teresa facility by the first quarter of 2025. With facilities located in Santa Teresa and Las Cruces, NM, this expansion marks a pivotal enhancement in their service offerings to the retail, food service, food distribution, and agricultural sectors across Southern New Mexico, West Texas, and Northern Mexico.

Upon completion, the facility will span approximately 335,000 square feet, with a total pallet capacity exceeding 47,000. One of the standout features of this expansion is the introduction of convertible rooms with temperature controls ranging from 35 degrees Fahrenheit to -15 degrees, ensuring versatile storage solutions for various perishable goods.

Additionally, the facility will offer blast freezing services, swiftly cooling food to safe storage temperatures. This feature is crucial for preserving the quality of perishable items and extending their shelf life.
